Well, and jumping spiders working more like a miniaturized “normal” predator are less alien in some ways. No web-building to get all over and snare passersby, no wrapping up the gruesome dead for later, no multiple egg sacs *in* a web, no butterfly munching, nope, just a little bright-colored gonzo maniac chowing down on pest insects and looking for honeys.
